Reading: We made a character web about one of her favorite books, D.W.'s Guide to Good Manners.

Her family: She has 1 brother and 1 sister, she is the oldest sister, she is younger than her brother, and she is younger than me (Shayla), she is in preschool.
Physical characteristics: She has brown hair and wears a pink dress
Personality traits: smiles, waves, friendly, helpful, good manners, gets along well with others, nice, a good friend.
Shayla came up with most all of these answers herself. She decided she would like to be friends with a person like D.W.
Well, I did not finish what I hoped to accomplish because of an unexpected event (Shayla coming down with the flu). But, we did have a lot of fun these days - despite her feeling yucky! We spent time reading togther, singing together, playing her board games, playing with her toys together, and watching Christmas videos.
