A Princess' Day - Cassandra's Wedding

My oldest daughter, Cassandra became the bride of her high school sweetheart, Michael, this past weekend. The wedding was beautiful. Since we live a state away, she and her new in-laws did all the preparations. All we had to do was show up (which is good, because I am not a wedding-type of person).

Cassandra, the bride, with mom (me)and Shayla, her youngest sis.

This handsome young man is now my son-in-law.

Three of the five bridesmaids. My daughter, Morgan is the middle one.

Taking those sacred vows. Cassandra was so nervous, she couldn't stop laughing. Kaylee (Cassandra's sister from her dad, made a beautiful flower girl). She wanted two flower girls, but my youngest daughter, Shayla is too shy to walk down the isle like that (notice she is seen clinging on to me in most pics).
The cake. I'm told it was a delicious raspberry cheese cake, but I also seen chocolate, and white cake. (I don't cheat at all on my food allergy diet - even for special occasions) Cassandra said her favorite flavor was the white chocolate. It's a mystery to me, but it was beautiful.

The bride and groom's first dance together.

My husband snapped this pic of me. He found it amusing that I cried during the ceremony and again at her reception. I swore I wouldn't be one of those moms!
As I try to get my life and home back to normal, my daughter and her new husband are enjoying the week on the beaches of Hawaii.
That's one daughter down, two more to go! In case you're counting!
