Gooey Slime

We had lots of fun making gooey gunk. It's simple, using things you probably already have around your house. You get much more than the little amount in the store with this homemade recipe.

Gooey Slime

Solution A:


1 c. water
1 c. glue
food coloring (we chose purple)




Solution B:

1-1/3 c. warm water
4 tsp. borax laundry booster





Mix solution A in medium bowl.





In second medium bowl, mix ingredients for solution B until borax is completely dissolved.





Slowly pour solution A into solution B - DO NOT MIX!!!!!! Instead, roll solution A around in solution B 4-5 times.





Lift solution A off of solution B and knead for 2-3 minutes.





Store gunk in zipper storage bag or plastic container.





BTW, this is the time to stock up on lots of glue from Walmart if you will be making these cool projects with your kids. The back-to-school sales are on and a bottle of Elmer's school glue is only 22 cents.
