CVS Trip - Jan 15, 2010

Sorry I didn't get this post up last week when the sale was on.  I'm always a day late and a dollar short!

CVS was one of four stores we went to this week.  I also hit Rite Aid and the 10 for $10 sales at Meijer and Kroger.  I was able to stock up and fill my car trunk, backseat, and floorboard for $160.  Unless the sales are exceptional, I will not venture out the rest of the month, except to get fresh produce.

2 - 4pk GE Reveal lightbulbs on sale 2/$6 - $2 ECB wyb 2

2 - pantene conditioners 2/6.97 - $2 ECB wyb 2

-$3/2 P&G coupon

1 - Oral B manual toothbrush 2.99 - $1 ECB
-75 cent P&G coupon

1 - Crest Outlast with Scope toothpaste - $3.49 - $1.00 ECB

1 - 20 roll Charmain toilet paper - $12.99 - $4.00 ECB (It was supposed to be Cottonelle, but the manager was substituting the Charmain instead)
-50 manufacturer coupon

Total $49.08.  UGH!  Who would actually pay this price!

After coupons and Extra Care Bucks, I walked out spending $1.64 - and earning an additional $10 in Extra Care Bucks.  Yay!

BTW, Cassandra asked where I get my drug store matchups.  Although I usually make up my own scenario, I like to browse several blogs including:

For the Mommas

Hip2Save

So how did everyone else do this week?  What sites do you use for coupon matchups?

I haven't actually started this because we are so limited on space right now but I've been inspired after reading your post. I've been browsing through the Sunday paper, online coupons and CVS ad all day planning my strategy!:) Can't wait to start saving more $$$

Tonya,
Warning: It becomes an addiction! My kids even love to help out (with the actual shopping part).

Make coupon shopping work for you. There are lots of good sites out there that will have the coupon matchups. Now that you can print coupons, the possibilities are endless. LOL!
