Although our youngest daughter did not meet the DSM criteria for autism or Asperger's, she still has many of the characteristics. I know this sounds crazy, but we have noticed her symptoms are always worse for a month or so in the spring. The sound sensitivities (all sensory processing)the non-verbal skills, the ADHD behaviors, everything! My normally sweet, sensitive child becomes a rebel and a force to be dealt with. Thank goodness it doesn't last long!
