Training our Daughters Tuesday - Frugal Gift Giving

I first read this frugal idea in The Tightwad Gazette. The girls and I tried it for Christmas and we had a great story to tell about the wrapping, as well as the gift.

I love the expensive foil wrapping paper, but my budget does not allow for it. So, you take a potato chip bag. Turn it inside out. After eating the contents, please! Put gift in like a gift bag, fold over the top a few times, then I punch a couple of holes in the folded part and put a ribbon through it. Then I stamp a decoration and use double sided tape to attach.

Is that repurposing or what? We're trying to show our girls that frugal can be fun!
